EB Graduates

Saturday, I watched my sister-in-law walk across a stage in a purple cap and gown to accept her diploma with her left hand and shake the hand of TCU's president with her right. I felt tears in my eyes. EB has been a big part of my life since she was in 6th grade. Now, she has graduated college with a degree in Graphic Design. I have her to thank for my beautiful website. So, when she graciously asked me to help with her celebratory graduation dinner, I wanted to do something creative, special and visually appealing - just like her design work. I was inspired by Pantone. Which is a color tool she uses often. Yellow is her current favorite color. I filled ten cedar boxes with premium flowers ranging from orange-yellow to yellow-yellow to light yellow to pale yellow/cream to white. The arrangements were placed with the darkest yellows in the center then "faded" towards each end of the table to achieve the Pantone effect.

Wine cork place card holders were the perfect choice to go with with natural, casual elegance of Ellerbe's Fine Foods. Of course, EB is responsible for the design of the place cards. Cheers!
